Mathematics

Our mathematics program is individualized; with frequent one-on-one instruction. Working as individuals, in groups or with a partner, students are taught through the use of text, games, and many hands on experiences. As in all subject areas at MVA, work is marked and corrected quickly ensuring students receive the continuous feedback they need. Emphasis is placed on teaching problem solving strategies at all levels. Concept mastery is thoroughly measured by frequent testing and daily math fact drills.
